How it all started

Echo Tech Solutions was founded in 2009 by local IT expert Rob Kettle. Rob has worked in IT his entire career, with his early years in general IT support, local government and the mining and construction industry.

Rob decided he wanted to focus on our local community in the Peel region and other homegrown businesses within our state, so he opened Echo Tech Solutions.

Echo Tech has been supporting industries such as Automotive, Real Estate, Medical, Trades, and other businesses.

Being able to support businesses with their technical needs whilst speaking without all the technical jargon is something that Rob believes is the foundation of Echo Tech’s success.

Rob has been working in the ever-changing IT industry for over 25 years. Over this time, his skill set has become extensive and varied, which makes him the perfect one-stop shop.

He is honoured many of his customers think of him as their in-house IT guy. Rob’s main objective is to be able to help his customers to a high standard without all the confusing ‘computer nerd talk’.

How much are you going to charge me?

We charge a minimum of 30 minutes for remote support jobs and a minimum of 1 hour for onsite jobs. Time in excess of this is charged in 15-minute increments.

Where are you located?

We are located in the Mandurah Business Development Centre in Mandurah, Western Australia, at Suite 7, 10 Lively Place. Check our contact page for more details.

I have my data in the cloud. Do I need a backup?

Having your data in the cloud is a great place to have it, but you should never rely on one place or device for your backups. We can discuss backup options to determine the best protection for your needs.

Help, I’ve been hacked / scammed. What do I do?

Stop what you are doing. Take some quick photos or screenshots of your hacked device, if possible, and then turn it off. Call us immediately to work out what has happened and what action plan needs to be implemented ASAP to protect you and your business from further harm.

I don’t have a business. Will you fix my home computer?

We do focus primarily on small to medium businesses, but we also look after home-based clients too.

Do you do website design?

That’s not really our thing. We do partner with a local web development business as they are the pros. Feel free to contact us and we can make that introduction for you.

I run a home based business. Can you help me?

Absolutely. A large majority of our clients run home-based businesses. We love helping them get up and running and supporting them into the future.

Do I need Antivirus on all of my computers? Even my Mac?

Yes. You should have antivirus on your devices… including your Mac. We can help you find the right cybersecurity solution for your needs.

Do I come to you or do you come to me?

There is the option of both! We often work remotely with regular customers. We can come to you if that is what you prefer or if that is what the task requires. You can also bring your device into our office.

I don’t live in the Peel region. Can you still support me?

Absolutely! We currently have clients from Ellenbrook to Margaret River. We even have clients on the road driving through our great states and working up north on-site. This is when our remote access tool makes everyone’s life easier.
